Team & Mission

Azhar Donenbayeva - psychologist, independent researcher, and co-author of the Theory of Time and Consciousness (TTC).
Works at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive science. Her main interests include body-oriented practices, stress regulation, trauma work, temporal organisation of perception, and decision-making processes.
Previously held senior positions in business and legal structures. This managerial and legal experience now enriches her psychological practice and enables her to develop practical, evidence-based protocols for individuals, teams, and executives.
Her current focus is the integration of TTC principles into clinical and coaching work: conscious work with “inner time” and attention, embodied awareness, resilience building, and improvement of overall quality of life.
She offers:
  • Individual therapy (online and in-person)
  • Supervision
  • Group intensives and workshops
  • Educational programmes
  • Lectures and corporate trainings

Assan Dossayev
Co-author of the Theory of Time and Consciousness (TTC); physicist and engineer by training.
Independent researcher developing the interdisciplinary Theory of Time and Consciousness, which integrates psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and cognitive science. Main focus: mechanisms of subjective time formation, boundaries of the self and embodiment, and measurable correlates of mental processes.
Education Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI) Specialisation: Nuclear Physics
Research and professional interests
  • Nature and metrics of subjective time
  • Architecture of consciousness and levels of self-awareness
  • Correlations between mental states and neural, hormonal, and electrical activity
  • Applied models for psychotherapy and decision-making improvement
  • Artificial intelligence: formalisation of attention and perception in the temporal domain, cognitive architectures, interpretability, and integration of psychological markers into AI systems
AI connection TTC actively uses tools and concepts from AI (machine learning, probabilistic models, neural-network representations) to describe the temporal structure of consciousness and to predict mental states. In the opposite direction, TTC principles are applied to the design and evaluation of AI systems: modelling “inner time” of algorithms, improving attention and decision-making mechanisms, and developing metrics for meaningfulness and behavioural stability of models.
Selected professional experience
  • Chairman of the Board, JSC National Company “KazSatNet”
  • Senior executive positions at JSC “NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” (Managing Director for IT, Chief Engineer, etc.)
Scientific and practical activities Principal author and promoter of TTC. Develops research projects and practical applications at the intersection of the humanities and exact sciences, with particular emphasis on AI-related challenges.

Mikhail Mazhitov

2002–2006: Scientific coach of the Kazakhstan national physics team for school students; prepared teams for Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) and International Physics Olympiad (IPhO). Academician of the International Academy of Informatization.
Professional experience
  • Associate Professor and lecturer at universities in Kazakhstan
  • Lecturer at the Lomonosov Moscow State University branch in Astana

Research interests Theoretical physics, mathematics, artificial intelligence, information theory, and fundamental physics of consciousness.

Dear friends and colleagues,
We are three independent researchers from Kazakhstan.
For many years we have been developing the Theory of Time and Consciousness (TTC) without grants, without large institutions or administrative support, solely in our personal time and at our own expense.
On the Russian version of the site you will find much more detailed information, all working materials, calculations, and video lectures. We are gradually translating everything into English, but it takes time.
We do not represent any major academic school, corporation, or institute. This gives us complete intellectual freedom, yet also places full responsibility on the idea itself: the theory will only live and grow through the criticism, verification, and the involvement of those who find it promising.
If the approach presented here speaks to you, whether you are a neuroscientist, psychiatrist, psychologist, physicist, mathematician, AI researcher, or simply someone deeply curious about the nature of consciousness, we will be genuinely glad:
  • if you read this English overview,
  • if you request the complete Russian materials (we will send them the same day),
  • if you join the discussion in our Telegram channel,
  • if you subject our claims to the toughest scrutiny or offer your support,
  • if you suggest experiments, models, or collaborative projects.
The next stage is no longer ours alone. It now belongs to everyone who is ready to collectively test and deepen our understanding of human consciousness.
Thank you for your time and attention.

With respect and hope for future collaboration
Azhar Donenbayeva, Assan Dossayev, and Mikhail Mazhitov.
